1. Definitions

“We,” “Us,” “Our” refer to Showcase AI, its owners, developers, and affiliates. “You,” “User,” “Merchant” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using our platform. “Service” refers to the Showcase AI Shopify application and related services. “Content” means text, images, videos, audio, or any other material uploaded, generated, or created using Showcase AI. “Store” refers to your Shopify store connected to the app.

2. Use of Service

You agree to use Showcase AI only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. By using the Service, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have an active Shopify store
• You have authority to install apps on that store
• You will provide accurate information
• You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality

You agree not to use Showcase AI for illegal, abusive, fraudulent activity, IP violations, misleading content, harassment, hate speech, or explicit adult content.

Shopify Permissions

When you install the App, you grant permission to access required Shopify store data, read selected product information and media, and manage billing via Shopify’s Billing API. We do not access or store customer personal data unless required for essential functionality.

3. Features of the Service

Showcase AI enables users to upload or select product images, generate videos using AI, customize video content, download generated videos, and use credits included in subscription plans. Features may be updated or modified at any time.

4. Subscriptions, Billing and Credits

Showcase AI operates on a subscription and credits model billed via Shopify Billing. Credits may expire based on plan terms and are not refundable or transferable. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges through Shopify.

Refunds

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable, partial-month refunds are not provided, and used credits cannot be refunded. Billing concerns should be reported to support@showcaseai.app.

5. User Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of all content uploaded or generated using the Service. You confirm you have rights to all uploaded content and that it complies with applicable laws and Shopify policies. We receive a limited license to process content solely to provide the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing content before use. Showcase AI is not liable for consequences arising from AI-generated content.

7. Prohibited Content

You may not generate or distribute content involving pornography, hate speech, violence, extremism, scams, spam, or copyrighted material without permission. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

8. Data Privacy and Security

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect only necessary data, encrypt data in transit, and do not sell personal information. You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws.

9. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with all Shopify themes or apps. Temporary suspension may occur for maintenance or security purposes.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, misuse, or non-payment. You may terminate usage by uninstalling the App. Uninstallation does not guarantee refunds.

11. Limitation of Liability

Showcase AI is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the last three months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Showcase AI from claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance of revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
